"Dance West in Concert 2023" promises an enjoyable evening featuring a variety of choreographic styles set on Dance West by guest artists and our own ACMA Dance Staff. From Broadway's "Guy's and Dolls", choreographed by Randy Davis, to the classical ballet of Jason Davis, there is something for everyone. Jazz lovers will dig Julane Stites's version of "Take Five", and Kemba Shannon's innovative modern and Afro-funk is always a crowd pleaser. Additional features are "Vertigo", a modern/contact piece by guest Tim Cowart of Western University, and "Casual Conversations" by M'Liss Stephenson who creatively threads much-needed humor throughout her work. Other guests include current ACMA students, David Ward of Seabury Hall in Hawaii and alum, Kennedy Howard.
